What's new:
Wild Strange and Unknown syntax
@ ECHO OFF
:Goto here as said or not said.
PAUSE (or BREAK ON).
@: Goto School
Discovered: June 22, 2001.
@:@:Goto Work, also works.
Finally I found something interesting, a new ERRORLEVEL
checking feature. This new feature has now been named 2
BennyLevel. Since my name is Benny, I should as Halley:
(who got Halley's Comet), be happy in our Heaven above.
William Allen and Laura Fairhead and other world-famous
programmers are currently rewriting programs using this
new feature.
Link: Laura's Homepage.
William Allen says: "This new feature should be called BENNYLEVEL
error checking in future. Do claim full credit on your website!".
Ok! You can later read much more about this new feature. If
you'll see an example now, then click on V in the above
Menu/letter-Bar, choose the VOL command and then Batch-
example, or read this:
@ Echo. Fully specified file name.| CHOICE /n /c:abcdefgh.> NUL
For %%D in (A B C D E F G H ) do if errorlevel H%%D set D=%%D
Echo. The drive letter in your Fully specified file name: %D%
i.e. as shown on page: ["avoiding freeze of choice.com"], the
CHOICE command always takes the first character in its input.
Frank has now on his script site, uploaded the description by
William Allen: [www.fpschultze.de/bsh.htm#a14]. Thanks Frank!

General /What's old?
Tips for Internet Explorer users: Press F11 key to continue...
If you want even much more space: Menu bar; Right-Click, Hide.
Whenever you need to enter a URL: Hit Ctrl+O (letter "O" not a
zero) or hit F11 once more. Note: F11 slowdowns copying/paste.
A brief translation from the magazine Alt om DATA, March 2000:
In Win95; D:\Tools\Oldmsdos\.
In Win98; D:\Other\Oldmsdos\.
In both directories is Help.com but forget that.
The manual written in HTML is much better and it
contains the same as "DOS-Help" and much more...
